1. TV by Jean-Philippe Toussaint (1997)
A master piece. Touissant is sly and deeply philosophic. He approaches existential issues with humor. I laugh loudly every time I read the book... and I also love the TV-media.
2. I choose between Kristina Lugns words on how to write a poem; how the process of creativity flows from it´s birth to it´s death when you leave the piece to the reader,
or Elfriede Jelinek; our time embodied. What some have called sensationalism is what I call a genuine attempt to describe a raw and brutal reality,
3.Michel Foucault, Madness and Civilization: A History of Insanity in the Age of Reason (1972). Comments not needed.
Göteborg is the cutting edge city for art, fashion and music. Here fashion still is alive (Fashion and courage is the same word in Swedish, so the word pun are a bit lost in translation).
Welcome to the continent. Sthlm watch and weep! Here´s all I need (and some I don´t). Say hello to the shoemaker, tobacco store manager, sushi chef, the Indian guy, watchmaker and the mailman. The provincial charm of Götenborg is unbeatable!
Located in the old regiment stables at Kvibergs, Gamlestaden.
Open weekends 10.00-15.00
3.A romantic day; follow the cry of seagulls along the harbour. See the front of Stena Lines catamaran lit in blue neon spotlights from our "San Fransisco" hill Nordhemsgatan, like a giant bumping building in the middle of the city. Continue to the sky bar and see it all from above. Give your self the time of a change in perspectives.
