By her complex installations she break out in to different archetypes minds. Here you will find broken hearts, loneliness and love for a city. The installation demands an insider, inside of some ones memory.
By breaking the taboos that art should not be functional, a borderland between fairytale and reality is created. Between fashion and art, and between me as the audience and what I’m looking at. Who’s who, and who am I?
By using her experiences from the fashion world Helena has the unique position of creating her own artistic space. The clothes, the archetypes wardrobe, that take part of her installations are sold as regular clothes. This creates a new place for Helena's art; your home and your body. What started as a game with different archetypes is now dead serious. Something has sneaked its way in to your home, and straight in to your wardrobe.
