Kajsa G Eriksson uses form and aesthetics as visual tools in her game of building everyday situations that enhance by the function clothes can have in social situations. In the artistic world inhabited by Kajsa the dress have as much existential and artistic value as the everyday life. Her art is always very analytic and built on many layers because of it´s intention to be something more than just art. As a PHD-student in fashion design she uses her art as a playground for the research. Kajsa works in a complex and witty way that is non narrative but still with a story as the foundation for her artistic research. Her art dares to leave it´s realm of art and open up to a much larger world. This is not "fast food" art, this is a form of art that demand something from it´s viewer.
